Grey’s Anatomy è una serie tv creata nel 2005 da Shonda Rimes per la Abc che fece il suo debutto televisivo il 27 marzo 2005. La protagonista è Ellen Pompeo, nel ruolo di Meredith Grey, la specializzanda del Seattle Grace Hospital, nonché figlia della famosa chirurga Ellis Grey, che assieme ad altri tirocinanti, inizierà il periodo di prova nell’ospedale, sotto lo sguardo attento dei medici supervisori.
Trama
Meredith Grey specializzanda in chirurgia, dopo la laurea in medicina, riesce ad entrare nel gruppo di tirocinanti del Seattle Grace Hospital. Si trasferisce così da Boston a Seattle, nella vecchia casa appartenuta alla madre, Ellis Grey, importante chirurga dell’ospedale in cui inizierà la specializzazione.
Si ritroverà a condividere questa nuova esperienza con un gruppo di giovani coetanei, tutti alle prese con i più svariati problemi.
La sera prima di iniziare il suo tirocinio, incontra in un pub, Derek, un affascinante uomo con cui passa la notte, scoprendo solo il giorno dopo che in realtà è il dottor Derek Shepherd, neurochirurgo dell’ospedale e suo supervisore.
Farà poi amicizia con Alex Karev, un individuo burbero e scontroso, George O’Malley, che sembra provare qualcosa per lei, con l’esuberante e metodica Isobel ”Izzie” Stevens e Cristina Yang, con la quale nascerà una forte amicizia.
