The Crazy Ones è una sit-com creata nel 2013 da David E. Kelley per l’emittente CBS che ha fatto il suo debutto televisivo il 26 settembre 2013. I protagonisti sono Robin Williams, il pubblicitario Simon Roberts e Sarah Michelle Gellar, la figlia, Sidney Roberts, anch’essa pubblicitaria. Assieme all’esuberante staff, si assiste alla quotidianità spassosa, gioiosa e divertente del creare slogan e pubblicizzare prodotti.
Trama
Simon e Sydney Roberts sono padre e figlia. Lavorano insieme alla “Roberts & Roberts“, un’agenzia pubblicitaria. Nello staff dell’ufficio lavorano anche: il copywriter Zach Cropper, il direttore artistico Andrew Kennedy e Lauren Slotsky, apprendista curatrice editoriale. Seguendone le vicende quotidiane nell’ambiente professionale e privato, si assisteranno alle pazze idee e travestimenti del fantasioso Simon e al lavoro di gruppo intorno ad un’idea pubblicitaria creativa.
