OneRepublic, uscito il nuovo brano Pay that toll

Gli OneRepublic sono tornati con un nuovo brano. In questi giorni, infatti, è uscito in digitale Pay that toll (BMG), nuovo pezzo della band rock pop statunitense. Si tratta di una canzone pop/folk coinvolgente con armonie trascinanti e un riff di chitarra acustica che cattura.

Al di là delle vibes del ritmo, però, il significato del brano nasconde altro. Pay that toll, infatti, contiene un avvertimento sui rischi del vivere in modo troppo veloce e sconsiderato e sulle inevitabili conseguenze delle nostre scelte. Insomma, un brano che unisce il sound tipico del gruppo a un messaggio universale.

Dopo questa nuova uscita, inoltre, gli OneRepublic saranno protagonisti del Fireworks Finale all’Hollywood Bowl, in cui saranno gli headliner insieme alla LA Philharmonic, l’11 e il 12 settembre. La band farà un concerto speciale di fine estate, che poi sarà seguito dallo spettacolo pirotecnico iconico dell’Hollywood Bowl, che segnerà la chiusura della stagione estiva del famoso anfiteatro.
